The Franklin Regional Adult School, Inc. is a non-profit organization administered by volunteers who are dedicated to providing leisure time activities for the community.  EXCEPT WHERE NOTED, ALL CLASSES ARE HELD IN FRANKLIN REGIONAL SCHOOL BUILDINGS.

If in doubt about any class location, please call the course representative.

The Adult School Committee will gladly welcome any of your comments or questions and will answer any of your questions regarding the courses.  Please feel free to call on us.

RULES GOVERNING ADULT SCHOOL

1. WAIVERS - THE FRANKLIN REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT DOES NOT carry insurance to cover medical costs of persons injured during participation or loss of personal property while taking classes in the Adult School Program.  ALL PARTICIPANTS ENTER PROGRAMS AT THEIR OWN RISK.

2. In compliance with the state and federal law, Franklin Regional Adult School, Inc. will provide equal opportunity to handicapped students.  If the need arises, PLEASE contact the Course Representative in advance of the starting date of the course.  We will work on arrangements for you on an individual basis.

3. Vehicles must be parked in the parking lots or specially designated areas. 

4. NO SMOKING ON ANY SCHOOL PROPERTY.

5. Students must be out of the building by 10:00 P.M.

6. Whenever Franklin Regional Schools are closed for inclement weather, Adult School Classes are also closed.

7. If the weather is bad and you have a question as to whether Adult School Classes will be held (e.g., a bad snowstorm), you may call your Adult School Representative.  You may also listen for announcements on radio station KDKA in Pittsburgh.

8. No transportation will be provided by the Adult School Committee members or instructors.

To all participants in courses of physical activity, CONSULTATION WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN PRIOR TO REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED.
