AMATEUR ASTRONOMY--UNDERSTANDING THE NIGHT SKY
Covers basic astronomy concepts: scope of the universe, distances, magnitude, solar system, “deep space,” constellation identification, seasons.  Also we will discuss telescopes and binoculars.  Course will include an optional observing session (weather permitting) at Wagman Observatory, Deer Lakes Park.    Time/date announced at first class.

Buying on E-Bay and Preventing ID Theft
The first part of the class will be a PowerPoint presentation with step-by-step instructions for any business, community or social organization, large or small, or any individual person to help them learn more about preventing identity theft.  The second part of the class will be a PowerPoint presentation of FTC materials designed to familiarize the student with the E-Bay site, including how to sign up, register, use Pay-Pal and buy from E-Bay.  Class will be held February 28 at the Murrysville Community Library, Meeting Room., 4130 Sardis, Rd., Murrysville.
