DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY, ADVANCED
OK we know what all those little buttons mean--but what now?  Learn the basic elements of composition, light and style.  Students will learn to interpret what they are seeing and create those images that the masters have created.   A basic element discussion will occur, then we will apply them first-hand in the field.  Class will be held March 6 at the Murrysville Community Library, Meeting Room, 4130 Sardis Rd., Murrysville.

DIGITAL CAMERAS AND ALL THOSE LITTLE BUTTONS
This course will discuss all those little buttons and codes that seem formed in another language.  You will be taught secrets that the pros use.  Students must have their own digital camera, guide book, digital card, batteries and flashes.  Be prepared to laugh and smile.  Class will be held February 27 at the Murrysville Community Library, Meeting Room, 4130 Sardis Rd., Murrysville.

DOG OBEDIENCE, BASIC
Interested in teaching your dog how to obey and respect you as the pack leader?  Learn to train your dog the following commands, “Leave it, stay, come, heel,” and avoiding the word “No”.  Class will also cover health and nutrition.  Must have proof of current rabies, distemper and bordetella shots.  Class begins February 24 at Walker’s Pet Ho Tail, 4603 Wm. GENEALOGY - TRACING YOUR FAMILY TREE
This is a step-by-step instructional class on tracing your family tree.  It is for beginners as well as those who have been at it for years.  The instructor will help you get started by tracing as far back as possible.  You will learn a lot.  Class begins February 24.

GEOCACHING, INTRODUCTION TO
Geocaching is a family friendly activity that uses GPSrs to hunt for “treasure” hidden throughout the world.  At the same time, geocachers discover hidden trails, scenic vistas, historic sites, beautiful sculptures etc.  Come learn how to get started in this popular sport, including hunting an actual geocache.  Please bring a GPSr if you have one.  Class will be held April 17 at the Murrysville Community Library, Meeting Room, 4130 Sardis Rd., Murrysville.   Plan to have transportation to the Walters Reserve about halfway through the session.  Bring water and trail mix for a quick snack.

PRIVATE PILOT GROUND SCHOOL
This course provides the ground instruction required to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge test (formerly called the written test).  This is a unique opportunity you will not want to miss if you are interested in flying.  The instructor, a flight and ground instructor, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through his 30 years and 6,000 hours of flying.  It is recommended that you take this course before you start flight instruction.  This course may also be of interest to the just curious.  Material fee of $50.00 to be paid to instructor.   Class begins February 22.
