COMPUTER TUTOR

Three hours of instruction on your own computer (PC with Windows ) in your home or office.  You choose the time for this one-on-one training.  You may opt for (a) Beginning, (b) the Operating System (c) Microsoft Word (d) Microsoft Excel (e) Internet and Email or (f)  a combination.  Register with the Adult School.  The Adult School will contact the instructor. Instructor will contact student regarding time.

FACEBOOK 101

Learn how to set up a Facebook account using all its features.  Understand personal security issues with Facebook and learn if you should “friend” your child or not.  Bring with you photos that you want to put on your Facebook page and a picture of yourself for your profile.  Photos can be on a DVD, CD, memory card, flash drive or digital camera (with power cable and cable to connect to a computer). Classes will be held Thursday, March 8, Tuesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 15.

MICROSOFT 2007

Use the power of your computer to create documents with Microsoft Word 2007.  Spreadsheets, charts and data entry for your family budget will be completed with Microsoft Excel.  Microsoft PowerPoint will be used to present pictures of your family to friends (presentation software).  Class begins February 22.

THE POWER OF POWERPOINT

This class offers a fun way to learn the elements of Microsoft PowerPoint by turning your family  vacation or event into an exciting presentation for all to enjoy.  You will learn how to use text boxes, graphics, music and custom animation.  All you will need to bring to class are some photos (digital preferred) and creative ideas.  Presentations will be saved onto CD’s for you to keep. Classes will be held Tuesday, February 28; Thursday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 6.
